CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY SOUTH THURINGIA/EUROPEAN OFFICE (EKFA)

European Office South Thuringia is a non profit organisation mainly dealing with international projects for different target groups (e.g. young trainees, specialists, SME, organisations). The main objective of the association is to promote mutual understanding between people, cultures and countries through the mobility of persons and through transnational cooperation of organizations.

We assistance in particular to SME`s preparing to enter foreign markets, develop and place business contacts..

The IHK and European Office cooperate especially when it comes to international operations (e.g. organize international business meetings, trips and country information days, support exchanges)

The city of Suhl is located in the federal state of Thuringia – Germany’s centre – in the region South Thuringia. Suhl gained a worldwide reputation for its traditions in the weapon production industry. As non-district town and centre of South Thuringia Suhl is known because of its regional, partly national function as administrative, cultural and shopping town.
